Environment Work-Life Balance

Examples of our benefits that support flexible ways of working

-Super Flextime

Since April 2020, we have abolished the core time (10:00-15:00) from our previous flextime system and implemented super flextime without core time.

-Remote Working Option

Astellas introduced the remote work system prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, and an increasing number of employees have been working from home since March 2020 to prevent the spread of the virus. We will continue to make efficient use of the remote work system after returning to the pre-pandemic state.

-Sideline Business

Restrictions on working a side business have been eased since April 2020. Having sideline businesses allows employees to experience diverse careers, enables career independence, and enhances creativity and productivity.

-FF day (Family Friday)

We introduced FF day in 2009 as part of our work style reform.
Every Friday, we move up the finishing time by 1 hour and 45 minutes to create an environment where employees can enjoy their private lives, such as spending time with their families and self-development.
